Privacy policy

1. What data we collect
- Email address and password (encrypted) when you register.
- The search criteria and saved searches you set up.
- Subscription data, handled by our payment provider.
- Technical data (IP address, approximate country) needed to run the service.
- At registration — which channel/ad campaign referred you (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), if you clicked such a link; this is held temporarily in your browser (not a persistent cookie) until you register.
- For logged-in users — visit count and the duration of your last session, so we understand how actively the service is used.
- If you have consented to marketing cookies — the Meta Pixel loads in your browser and sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies to link your visit to an ad campaign. Without that consent the Pixel does not load.
2. What we use it for
We use this data to send you alerts for matching listings, maintain your account and subscription, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. Sharing with third parties
We only share data with providers we need to run the service — for example our payment processor (Stripe) and our email notification provider. If you registered or subscribed via an ad campaign, we send the relevant ad platform (Meta/Facebook, TikTok) a hashed (not plaintext) email address, the clicked ad's identifier, and — where you have consented to marketing cookies — the identifiers from the _fbp/_fbc cookies, to measure that campaign's performance. These events are sent both from your browser (Meta Pixel) and from our server.
4. Retention
We keep your data for as long as you have an active account. After you delete your account, your personal data is removed within a reasonable time, unless the law requires otherwise.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to correct and delete your data, and to object to its processing. You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing [email protected].
6. Cookies
We use cookies to run the site. You can find more information in our Cookie policy.
